Marlon is the founder and Principal Adviser of Transira Energy, a senior energy sector professional with extensive experience across UK and European power markets.

He previously served as Head of Research for the UK and Ireland at Aurora Energy Research, advising governments, infrastructure funds, and developers on market fundamentals, energy policy, and investment strategy. In addition, Marlon held senior roles in industry overseeing the investment, development, and commercial operation of over 1,000MW of greenfield renewables, battery storage and flexible gas-fired projects.

As an independent adviser, he has supported private equity firms, global consultancies, and energy companies on transactions, commercial strategy, and market entry for renewables, natural-gas, and energy storage projects.

Marlon’s work and insights have featured in Bloomberg, the Financial Times, and other industry media.

He holds a BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Leicester and an MA in Management and Organisational Analysis from Warwick Business School.
